I am a self-taught fractal artist with over 25 years experience with digital computer art. I didn't have any formal mathematical nor art training, I never learned all the things I wasn't supposed to do, I just created the way things made sense to me. I experiment. I also try not to confuse communication of what I see in my art with what you see, it won't  communicate the same thing to all.  That is why I don't name my art. I don't feel it's fair to impose my impression on your visual journey by telling you what you should see.  It just is.

I draw my inspiration from my very eclectic views of nature along with the psychedelic scene in the 60's. That eras music, personalities and light shows truly affected my perception of art and my fractals are the culmination of that journey.

Here you will find a small collection of my works that represent a wide variety of my styles from my early years up to the present.  This is only a tiny fraction of all the fractals I've created but they are many of my best works.

I have used dozens of fractal generating programs in the creation of my art but for the past few years I have settled on a very powerful software program called Ultra Fractal. There is much debate about "computer art."  My opinion is that the computer is a tool to create art with as much as brushes and paint are the tools a painter works with.  It's not always about having the latest version of the software or hardware  that makes the design work, it you don't have the eye, the program is not going to give it to you.  To maintain the highest standards possible, I personally perform all of the creative aspects of making my digital prints from the selection of the mathematical formula used in the structure of the fractal to the printing and framing of the prints. Enjoy.

All of my designs are printed using light fast inks on acid free, resin coated archival satin/luster paper on the new state of the art Canon 12 color iPF wide format printer.  This ensures years of museum quality print life. These high-resolution prints are the same ones that I use for the many art exhibitions I show in around the world. These prices are for un-matted, signed prints that are suitable for framing.

My 8x10 prints are framed using Clip Frames.  These are classic, clean borderless frames that work with virtually any decor.  Spring clips securely hold images between a smooth MDF wood backing board and ground & polished edge glass.

My 11x14 prints are packaged flat in a clear plastic envelope against acid-free backing board. Prints larger than 11x14 are shipping rolled in a crush proof mail tube.  These archival large format giclee prints are all sized for normal, off the shelf frames.  The images are approximately 1" smaller than the listed frame size.  This "border" is where I sign the fractal.
